Novice gearhead

So since purchasing my 2008 Ford Mustang, and completing machinist's mate A-school in the Navy, I've acquired an aspiration to become a full-blown gearhead. I made the mistake of buying a new-ish car, which like anything in this modern age, is dominated by electronics and computer chips. Aw.
You needed to buy a "classic" (read: junker) and restore it. Mike did that with three cars when we first got married: 3 Karmann Ghias and a Morris Minor woody. He had a blast doing it and keeps saying he's going to do it again- which means I will trade the junked boat in the driveway for a junked car. LOL

It's all good fun.

Aw man, my dad has the same thing. We have a problem with a newer model car and he himself can't figure it out, because of all the computer stuff.

At least it's still a fantastic car, right?
