We call the uniforms "Johnny Cashes" because its a black shirt, with black pants, black shoes and a black tie. But there's nothing in the navy that's black except polish, so of course they're so deeply navy blue that they're indistinguishable from black. ( Read more... )

This sentence flowed beautifully; I rather love it. Just thought I'd tell you.

I hope your experiences do get better. According to my dad they sort of did.

Good luck on realigning your life. It's something we all should do at some point every so often, I think.

Also, I sound robotic in this response. My apologies for that. I hope everything works out for you, Hana. I miss you dearly.

My dad was a aircraft mechanic on a carrier during Vietnam. He enjoyed traveling places the most. He was also stationed on Guam, which he enjoyed immensely, because he was able to explore the island. That's probably a lot different from the experience you'll have, but he enjoyed that.

Whats the punishment for telling non-nuke peers about the things you've learned/are learning?

I actually found the cure for keeping secrets, which is something that I am not only bad at, but something I simply don't enjoy.

it would go something like this:
"An MM3 went to Captain's Mast today for one count of UCMJ article 92, Failure to Obey a Lawful Written Order, one count of article 104, Aiding the Enemy, one count of article 106a Espionage, and one count of article 108, Military Property Of United States-Loss, Damage, Destruction, Or Wrongful Disposition. He was awarded reduction in rank to E-1, half-month's pay for two month's, 90 day's restriction, 60 days extra duty and 3 month's in the brig pending Court Martial."
