Another contributor's copy

Recently read ResAliens 5, which had been in my TBR pile for two years (my first in-first out protocol for reading means that there are some long delays, sadly), and enjoyed it enormously.  Of course, I have a disclaimer, which is that the editor, Lyn Perry, is both a friend and someone I enjoy co-writing stories with, and that two of the other ( Read more... )

For most people, the TBR pile is a literal, as well as literary, pile.
The books are stacked horizontally, which makes FILO hard to avoid.
You probably already have too may to put vertically on a shelf,
sliding all of them over as you take one out;
if not, you might find a shelf and try arranging them that way.

I have them horizontally, but I have a list that tells me what comes next, so the pile itself is actually several smaller piles in random order...

This came about because, otherwise, I am terminally disorganized, and many books just weren't getting read.
