Ahahahahahaa! That's why I thought I had to include it, cause HOW USEFUL IS THAT?! So simple and obvious, but NO ONE DOES IT!

Guess chefs WOULD have all the inside tips xD

I, too, am amazed by the zesting trick! And by the nom-worthiness of this!

...maaaaaaaaan, I need to sign up for the Daring Cook Challenge! I think I'll do it in April. Fewer deadlines for me to worry over. :P Although if they do baked onions with onion sauce and onion crumbles I'm doomed.

Its like when I watched Julie and Julia and learned that patting dry meat is the secret to browing it up like crazy good. So obviously helpful, and I did not know it!!

I'm sure they wont xD! Also they do let you substitute things if you have a dietary restriction :D xD ;)

Thinking Onions are THE DEVIL is KIND of like a dietary restriction, kinda? xD

I cooked myself pan seared Atlantic Salmon with a sticky balsamic glaze. And I didn't have any recipe. Does that qualify as a challenge winnar?

It was the delish. I even had the too think for pan offcuts as a sashimi starter.

Om nom nom.

LMAO! Probably not since if you cooked it without about twelve recipes and 984204983 days then its not really a challenge? xD xD

You're totally a DELICIOUS DINNER WINNER though omg that sounds good!
