Aaugh! I keep forgetting to ask you - what sort of camera do you have?? I need a new one since mine was stolen in Mexico, and you take such deliciously colour-saturated photographs. I'm hoping it's not all photoshop. :P
Also, I think you are blaming the shoeses for things they did not do. Poor shoeses!
Currently I'm just using a kit lens on my Nikon D80. ^_^ Its a 50-200mm I THINK but I could be on crack and its different numbers since my back is all LULZSILLYNETTTHINKINGYOUCANDOTHINGS atm. xD
I'm really wanting a fixed 50 to go on it, Erik got one for Christmas and I'm JEALOUSNESS! xD
And lol, I don't photoshop much on most of my shots like these, a curve layer or two to fix contrast/brightness to where I want it, and around a 10 to 15+ on saturation. That's about it. ^^ Sometimes I'll do a little burn/dodge action but it depends entirely on what I'm taking shots of. :D
Those are very beautiful shoes! I hope you get a chance to wear them again some time. Only trial and error will tell if it was the shoes or not. I hope you are all well now tho. Being sick is the pitses!
And lol, not properly yet. I was going really well but then the heat wave struck and so very little physical activity put me back a fair way. Been using the walls/furniture to help me walk around for the last few days.
BUT! I'm sure it'll start getting back on track properly again soon :D
Those are gorgeous! Sadly, I have found that foot pain is directly proportional to fabulousness of shoes. If they look good, most likely they will mangle your feet in some manner >_<
Don't suppose there's any chance of us seeing the dress that these went with? Anything requiring that much beadwork and embroidery on the footwear must have been interesting...
Khussa/Jutti are heaps comfy, they're like every day shoes these days in pakistan :D So you should feel safe in purchasing an entire cupboard full! Hehehe
The shoes were pretty much the most flamboyant part of the outfit, they were powder pink strapless fifties inspired numbers, with a mint green bow at the waist... *goes to find a pic*
HOLY CARP, A BRIDESMAID DRESS THAT IS REPURPOSED?! *falls over* That is one seriously awesome bride, for getting you into something so deliciously simple. Your friends have good taste!
*laughs* To go to ANOTHER WEDDING no less. xD I was planning on repurposing it for lolita wear too. Hehe
LOL! I broke myself making mine, so it better be repurposed! xD xD I got to keep the sewing pattern as well, which I'm so using (and have already used) for other projects. My green dress for NYE? I used the skirt pattern off of this dress to make the skirt on the green dress. Although I altered it a bit and it didn't have the tulle underskirt (though there's still time to add it! xD)
