Okay, even with all the crazy amounts of leave I've taken in the last two years, somehow I still have over 5 weeks of Annual leave accrued, (YEAH bodes SUPER well for Canada at the end of the year then *dances*) and SEVEN AND A HALF WEEKS OF SICK LEAVE STILL AVAILABLE ( Read more... )

Apparently I have 3 weeks of Anual leave left!
And plenty of sick leave...which tends to dissapeare if you don't use it. *winks*

*laughs* I can't see how it can disappear if I've got SO much though, surely this means it accrues? *is completely confused* I've used HEAPS in the past and yet I have so much of it? This makes no sense to me.. O_o

I know it usually is given to you at the start of every year, fresh, right? Maybe the Uni works differently...

we lose ours at the end of every year... :(
So I have about 3-4 weeks of sick leave I lost out on.

WOW! That entirely sucks. I can't tell if it accrues here or not but it must otherwise how do I have so much? O_O But its good to know that I have so much recreational leave at my disposal especially as I want to head interstate and overseas a few times this year. I HAVE THE ITCHY FEETS AGAIN! So often!

Do you always put in leave forms when you're sick?
We've got a dude in our area who "forgets" to do this, and ends up taking way more sick leave than he is entitled for.

Unless I have organised to switch which days of the week I am working, yeaps I always put in leave forms. In fact I have a stack in my desk ready made just for that! So its a complete and utter puzzle to me WHY I still have so much!

You would think the space-time continuum would have better things to screw around with than the amount of leave a graphic designer working for a university in Australia has... Guess not.
