Because they get in my head! So two SHOCKING things!

One ACTUALLY shocking thing that makes me feel quite unwell:
A couple in Incheon, South Korea, were arrested last week when their 4-month-old daughter died after being left alone by the couple for hours. Why did they leave her alone? They went to an Internet Cafe to play WoW. HOLY. SHIT.

Sorry honey! These are me-orientated packages. *snuggles* I have to buy a couple of things to put in the package to send out to you before I send it, and that requires me going into the city and I'm not going into the city until tomorrow.

It's terrible that the couple put WoW above their daughter... I mean I would count myself as obsessed by computers, but I still think to feed the cat, myself, and go to see my girlfriend, and before she left me, I would be with my ex's daughter when I was the one looking after her.

Yeah, incredibly obsessive people obviously. Who leaves their baby unattended anyway? O_o Although as twotone says they could have been Farmers who depended on it for their income...

Errr, last week? But... the WoW story's from last June...

I can't remember whether anyone looked into whether they were WoW addicts, or were actual farmers depending on WoW for their income.

The "Last Week" bit is taken directly from the story and I didn't bother to change it when I was posting it up there. XD Although for some reason I thought the story was from September.. I now have no CLUE where I got that idea from O_o

No one mentioned that they were farmers in the threads that I was reading... Although if the story is true that they were only going to be at the cafe for an hour then I guess that they couldn't have been farmers. But that's completely a guess on my part.

I guess that's the big question... Just how horrible were they? Did they sincerely intend only to play for an hour or so, and get carried away? Or did they go in *knowing* that they'd be playing for hours, but gambling on the fact that the baby would be safe?

Considering they left their infant child unattended at home while they locked the apartment and left... I mean an infant isn't a cat or a dog, so either way its already pretty damning.

I don't get why, even if they were totally obsessive or whatever, one of them wouldn't have stayed at home with the baby and the other gone to play, and then a few hours later the other could come home and they would swap. That does kind of suggest to me they were at least totally clueless parents, because really, why would you BOTH trundle off to an internet cafe leaving a baby locked in the house....?

I know I agree! I mean yay for you if you want to play together, but atleast get a baby harness and bring the child with you O_o
