Last night (or, I suppose, this morning) was an interesting one. In the early evening, a handsome young boxer named "Archie" bit a good deal of his tongue off while waiting for his afternoon walk at the Pet Spa. According to the vet, he would have bled to death if taken even an hour later than he was. Later that night, my boss called me and asked

Awww...this was cute/horrifying.

It surely was, and although I despised the idea of spending a night at the Pet Spa, I kind of enjoyed it.

I was surprised (and angered, as I was trying to sleep) to learn that the doggies in the kennel don't sleep through the night--they never shut up.

I miss having you there!! We should get together again soon.
