I uploaded a picture to JPG maybe two hours ago, one of my favorite pictures from Russia, and look at the nice things people wrote!

Also, my friend Jane's excellent picture from Korea is listed as a "hot" picture, which is pretty darn exciting

Thanks! I think it's because the subject herself has a lot of personality. She was a kind of lounge singer in her youth and loves to be the center of attention.

I so rarely take pictures of people, but photos like this make me regret that.
