I totally envy the people that got to see MUCC at Osaka amHALL on September 28, 2006 during their SIXNINEDAYS tour. Ugh. They played ロバートのテーマ ・THEME OF ROBERT and Yukke was puppeteering ロバート

...a certain someone -cough- sorta implied that. (Actually he was pointing out the hardcore-ness of blakc and then changing to white; -had to tell him about the PV)
I think the people who complain about it are talking about it musically more than meaning or lyrics wise. More about how it sounds wrong to their ears or something, no?
oUHT$UYht$*y I totally agree. Seriously. Well on everything actually xDD;; First off, I think the bootlegs are WAY better both sound quality as well as technically (Tatsu I felt... was dying a lot in Psychedelic Analysis. I don't know. He wasn't bad. He just sounded a hell of a lot better on the bootlegs to me) And I agree that why the heck isn't that gokusai song ON gokusai... or anywhere?!
And yes, the people who for some reason cannot cope with genre-bending never fail to intensely irritate me. And both the PV and the lyrics could not make it more blindingly obvious that the theme was indeed SHIROKURO and that, why yes, there WAS supposed to be a contrast! If they don't LIKE the contrast, fine, but saying it SHOULDN'T be there? It would defeat the whole purpose of the exercise, which was, I'm assuming, to create something DIFFERENT.
mannnnn the second Bootleg CD is easily the best live MUCC CD ever. ;w; everything on it is amazing, ESPECIALLY the broken P.A. version of 'haitoku no hito'.
also, you seem cool and VERY WISE and I hope you don't mind if I add you! :x
This is regarding リブラ [Libra] critiques, especially. 99% of the people who said that they hated the chorus JUST DIDN'T GET IT. By that, I mean, they didn't understand the whole 白黒 / BLACK VS WHITE / DARK VS LIGHT theme. EVEN WITH THE ADDED VISUALS OF THE PV.
Ha, WORD. The idiocy. I encountered someone who actually MODIFIED the song file to take out the chorus. WTF? And yeah, could MUCC have made the theme any clearer? I personally didn't need the PV, but it made it even more obvious. Geez. Agreed about CD reviews overall too. ;D
yeah, talk about shit for brains. i think it was that same idiot that set me off on this rant in the first place. ugh.
i think people who aren't musicians themselves, or haven't worked extensively with music, should not be taking it upon themselves to write horribly amateur and biased/narrow reviews. it's like..what's the point when you're just going to rip a band to shreds simply because you can't understand the artistry of the performance/compositions or even the genre? :/
