[The transmission starts off with a short Bzzzt! followed by a familiar yelp. The voice is muffled since Chopper's communicator is in his backpack at the moment.]

[And then that's when all hell breaks lose. There's the loud clatter of what sounds like things being thrown at him, and he's running as fast as he can

[Cautiously pokes her head out of her room for fear of another trap, but WHY IS THERE SOMEONE LYING UNCONSCIOUS IN THE HALL. Cue running to Chopper.]

O-Oh my gosh! Are you okay?!

[allephoria]

Mm, okay then.

When I opened the door in my room to go out, a bucket of dirt fell over. It poured dirt all over me, but I wasn't hurt luckily.

These sound almost like traps.

That one wasn't a very good one. ...and how come I got such a bad one?

Yeah, or a prank or something...

Yours was a lot worse than mine... at least I didn't get hurt. Maybe it's random.

I'm gonna try to find out who did this, before someone else ends up with an even worse prank!

[Tries to stand up... but then he falls back onto his butt, holding his head.]

D-Dizzyyy...

Ah, be careful! [She reaches her hands out to try and steady him a bit.]

I want to find out who did this, too. There are a few other people who've been tricked, so maybe we could ask them if they had any idea who could've done this.

[All of a sudden, he starts sniffing around for a moment. After a while though he just sighs.]

I don't recognize the scent. It's not anyone that I know.

Wow... you can tell who it might be just be sniffing the air? That's amazing!

[His cheeks go a little pink and he ducks his head a little, laughing sheepishly.]

W-Well, I'm still an animal, and I've always had a good sense of smell. Not happy, jerk~

[Right, she's... talking to an animal. Uh.]

I've never met an animal that could talk either... it was quite surprising. You're a doctor, too, right? That's incredible!

[bokuwadoctaaa]

[SO MUCH AWKWARD LAUGHING AND SHIFTING AROUND AND--]

O-Ow... I don't care, shut up! Ahaha... haha~ ...ow.

Ah, please don't push yourself. I don't know how long it'll take the wound to heal, but you should probably take it easy...

[Immediately back to his normal self.]

Not long. I didn't end up with a concussion or any bad bruising. I should be feeling fine in a few hours though the back of my head won't be healed for maybe a week or so. It didn't feel like it was bleeding that much, so I got pretty lucky. [Then, a smile.] Thanks for helping me! Uh, I'm Chopper by the way.

I'm glad you didn't get too hurt then. [A small smile in return.] I'm Chihiro Shindou. Would it be okay if I called you Chopper-kun? Or would you prefer something else?

I'm really good at running. [Not to mention he has a lot of experience in avoiding things like that, but that'd cause too much worrying if found out.] That's fine also, I don't mind!

But, could you do me a favor and get my hat? I think I'm gonna just sit here a little while until I feel better and then head back to the first floor.

[allephoria]

Ah, sure. [She quickly retrieves the hat and brings it back to him.] Is this hat important to you, Chopper-kun? You were asking for it even when you were half-passed out here.
