Steam on the Mac

I was pleasantly surprised to see that Valve will soon offer Steam for the Mac. Though I don't plan to buy a new computer in the near future, this is nice because it means at some future point, I'll have the option of switching to a Mac without losing the ability to play some of my favorite games, which is

I'm always confused as to why everyone things Macs are more expensive. They're not. When I bought my MacBook, I did so during my last year of college so to get the education discount, which all other computer brands also offered. However, whenever I played with the "buy now" buttons and configured computers to my liking, be they PC or Mac, I found that the PC options were more expensive, and they didn't offer me a free printer to boot.
