I just happened to be on VH1 when a show called "Little Beauties" came on, a show about beauty pagents for like 5/6 or so year olds.... I should just turn it over, but the psychology of our society and my interest in it took over. How horrible is it, to dress a child up like a barbie doll, when they will never be a barbie doll? These little girls

Not to mention the icky implications of sexualizing children in a way that children are not and should not be inherently sexualized. This is not to say that children do not have a sexuality, they are human beings, but to flaunt and force adult notions of sex, etc upon them is possibly more disturbing than even the doll-like aspect of all of this.

I agree with you on that, they were even calling one of the girls "The Flirt". One couldn't stop talking about liking boobs... these are 6-year-olds!
