He's a really big figure in the freak-folk scene, which I find myself getting really into lately. He has a very interesting voice (it's an acquired taste) and is usually backed by guitar/assorted instruments. He's had a really fascinating life, too; he was born here, but raised by his mother in Venezuela. He went to an art institute here, but ended up homeless until he was discovered by Young God Records, which is his label now. And he's gorgeous. Mrowr.
