I do this all the time! I never learn. Supposedly vinegar works. You know, if you would prefer to smell like dressing.

Vinegar would be worse! Plus I don't have any.

Ugh. I stink. I didn't realize you meant you actually smell until I read the post. Hee!

Nicki Minaj perfume....really? And you didn't think it would be stinky?

I wouldn't admit that. :D

Nicki Minaj doesn't generally interfere with my life beyond Tumblr posts, but it was okay on the card, a bit sweet but nice enough. it was just later that it got awful.

Washing your hands with toothpaste seems to be recommended for a variety of things. Or try dish soap? Or maybe something stinky of a different variety, like nail polish remover. IDK, just throwing things out there, lol.

Obviously I didn't try hard enough. Thankfully, it seems to have gone now..

WikiHow recommends white vinegar, or rubbing alcohol. Rub, then allow to dry. Maybe? Good luck...

I am the weirdo without any kind of vinegar. I have surgical spirit, which I think is the same as rubbing alcohol (we don't have that here).

They're basically the same thing according to Wikipedia. I've never heard of "surgical spirit" before; it sounds like a ghost doctor! :D

Out of curiosity, what worked in the end?

It's a bit old fashioned. I had to order it from the chemist, which is really bizarre given all the uses people seem to find for it. But then I did manage to get through 42 years of life without it.

It's a boring tale, I just woke up the next day and it was gone after my shower. :)

There are quite a few scents which smell gorgeous on other people and horrific on me!! I suppose it's all to do with skin chemistry but it is hard to get rid of a scent if you don't like it.

By the way - I curse you as I have been sucked into Covet!! It's addictive......
