[Yuki smiles a little more warmly at Tiffany, looking at ease. Evidently, the drone is more comfortable in the company of her own sex.]

The math homework last night was a little difficult, wasn't it?

I, ah. I hope I did the trigonometry correctly . . . It's always hard to remember the formulas.

[Bugs, being a rabbit, gets a quick 'eep', a curious glance and then a tentative reaching out.

[She doesn't seem to notice at all. With her hand, she slowly begins to try to stroke Bug's head. If he moves away, she'll stroke the spot where he was.]

[Well, this is a little strange...but he's not going to complain at all.]

[Yuki peers up shyly at him through her glasses and nods as she approaches. She will be content to walk silently to school if Nagi doesn't say anything.]

[It's strange, but he's not sure what to say. Instead, he hesitates for a moment...and reaches over to lightly take her hand.]

[This is met with a slight gasp and a surprised hop-skip to the side. Yuki looks at the boy with wide eyes.]

[Kyon doesn't normally spend a whole lot of time out at night, but for some reason, he decided that tonight he would go for a walk.]

Hm? Oh, hey! Nagato!

[She turns around. And Kyon, who knows her so well, may be surprised to see the soft 'oh' of surprise that leaps to her face. Or perhaps he doesn't notice in the dim light.]

A-Ah . . . Kyon.

[sosnarrator]

What are you doing out here?
