Hey! Nagato! [He raises a hand as he calls out to her.]

[And almost entirely unbidden, a smile has leapt to her face. Yuki claps a hand over her mouth in surprise, but continues to walk towards Kyon nonetheless.]

[sosnarrator]

Yeah, I'm fine. It seems that not believing in Santa has actually spared me from a few of the town's antics?

[And where unwieldy nuances of phrasing had been utilized before to convey this thought, Yuki finds it entirely natural now to speak this way. Yes. She is glad that her closest friend has not been hurt on this holiday.]

[Panicky and somewhat breathless, she continues to speak.]

[Mia hesitates the at the edge of the transforming, unsure of how to press forward]

[Don't get any closer. Reality is extremely unstable as Yuki continues to shudder on the ground, tears leaking from her eyes, blood leaking from her nose and mouth.]

[There's no small amount of exertion in his voice at the moment.]

[sosnarrator]

[Yesterday with Nagato was quite a nice day, however she did make a wish to that Santa Claus, which would obviously carry consequences as it did with many others around town. And so, on the telephone...]
