“Bullshit,” said Chazz.
“It’s true.”
“But there’s supposed to be a whole rainbow of fruit flavor.”
“There is.”
“And there’s no cherries? In the rainbow? That’s- that’s unpatriotic.”
“How can candy be patriotic? There’s no white or blue.”
“What are the red ones?”
“Strawberry,” said Jimmy, consulting the bag. To him, all the Skittles tasted the same. It didn’t matter what they were.
“Let me see that. How can they say strawberry is better than cherry? You never see a strawberry at the bottom of a glass of bourbon.”
“Well, when they make bourbon-flavored Skittles, they’ll add cherry.”
“They’d better.”
