Thank you again. I'm trying to tone them down to an appropriate level, and I'm (obviously) struggling to find that happy medium that sets her apart from the other P4 kids without setting her apart from canon, and you're right, I do need more practice, but that's just me being shy and not wanting to interrupt anyone/anything. /)n(\
DON'T APOLOGIZE, BBCAKES. I personally have no issue with your Naoto at all, but, y'know, there's room for improvement with EVERYONE ♥ I'll do all I can to keep on interacting with you. Let's improve together!
...It was a little cool. I just wish that wasn't what everyone thought of upon hearing the word "detective". And I'm not nearly that good at thinking in metaphors.
((OOC: Thanks. I must look like such a spaz with all this encouragement, haha. |D))
I think the plot was a little shaky. The narration was correct, it is unusual for a woman in a hardboiled detective story to attempt murder so early. However, I suppose it does lend a certain air of mystery through shock value.
Well, you see, in a detective story, it's generally best to build up suspense. The characters should generally be on decent terms with each other before an unexpected assault or murder is attempted, because then the person observing these events will wonder what caused the person who supposedly had nothing against the detective to attack them. Otherwise, it holds all the mystique of a mugging, especially with the ending cut off like that.
Oh! I'm sorry, I shouldn't ramble on about detective stories. I think I may have read too many of them.
Really? I don't think very many people would be interested in the combination. A teenage girl playing the part of the hardboiled private eye would no doubt worry some people, wouldn't it?

I suppose, it was. It didn't seem so shaky.
I see.
[a nod here in agreement]

Did you ... watch many detective movies when you were younger, Naoto?
