I enjoyed the Hobbit movies. They were more CGI and less story, in general, than LotR, but still, I enjoyed them over all and loved some parts of them. (I'll agree with having a moan about some parts put in or left out, though). And I am sad to see them over. When I walked out of the theater after seeing BOTFA, I cannot deny I was melancholy. Tolkien, PJ and fanfic have given us some wonderful entertainment!
I'm easy. I was so grateful to have PJ bring The Hobbit to life that I enjoyed it. Not with the dumbstruck love I felt for LOTR, but still, a story I love.

I have to say, I did like BO5A better than the second movie, mainly because Bilbo got his due in it, and MF was so brilliant at being Bilbo!
But I agree, TH is not nearly as good a trio of films as LOTR.
And the William Tell moment with Bard's son.
I loved that, too! It really lent some weight to his future as King of Dale, Bain son of Bard!

I enjoyed the visuals a lot, and Martin Freeman as Bilbo. He did a great job!
