Un-Thanksgiving

I didn't grow up with a designated Thanksgiving Day so I never feel it coming but everyone says it snuck up on them this year. Such a bizarre year.

Me, I'm in this strange funk of grateful (how could I not be) but organically, biologically disgruntled; so many of my little comfort things are just gone, even while I continue to have a warm bed every ( Read more... )

Thanks for another great post. I think that many of us had a non traditional Thanksgiving this year.

Uh.. Bodi... I think you will find that it was Edvard Munch who did "The Scream"

I had Thanksgiving out here in Total Disaster, the ex-FEMA camp near Modesto. This is my new home, probably; I've made some friends here. It has very little to commend it, except the people; turns out that's more than enough.

(Munch did the _famous_ "The Scream" but I think Van Gogh understood the sentiment...)
