I've never understood buying someone a star, or a plot of land on the moon. It's a useless piece of paper since that individual has no claim to it, but at least its stupidly sentimental. I suppose a star is romantic of sorts, and the moon has a real ethereal beauty. You can find and look at these and go "Oh, a piece of paper you paid someone £25 ( Read more... )

It was out tonight. Amazing. I got the binoculars out to show it to my class, then accosted any teacher that walked past. They didn't seem quite as impressed as me that they were looking at another *world*!
