Continuing with the Easter stuff: rainfletcher got a t-shirt with a 3-D flower applique made from Maggie's trim fabric and leaves made from the green dot fabric. ( pic )

Last month, Jeremy was diagnosed with GERD and PCKD. He was also transferred, against his preference, to a different worksite. Maggie broke her nose. Overall kind of a not-fun period.

Last Wednesday, we headed north mid-morning with a very excited Maggie and a slightly skeptical Ivy. The drive went really well and we arrived at my Dad's in the evening. Last...Wednesday? wow. Wednesday. Last Wednesday Maggie was a bit "off." By Thursday morning she was coughing, so rainfletcher and I decided to keep her home from school, on the grounds that if we expect other parents to keep their sick kids away from ours, the least we can do is keep our sick kid away from theirs. Yesterday at the end of school, Maggie's teacher mentioned that she'd been a bit wander-y. She says she's doing well, just sometimes lacks attention. rainfletcher and I presume that this is mostly due to being-four-ness, and that a bit of time will help. I had a lovely birthday! rainfletcher got me several baking-related items I asked for. Juanell took the girls and me out to lunch and then treated me to a mini-shopping spree at Target (I picked out four new skirts). Poor rainfletcher complained of feeling meh when he got home this evening. Of course those days are the days that the kids are all over him. I made him take his temperature and it was slightly elevated. He's currently fast asleep, as are the girls.
