I hear you. I have my senior project, a research methods class that requires lots of archive and site visits, and an anthro class that requires fieldwork. And I'm missing a syllabus for my 4th class still, but knowing the prof it's probably fairly straightforward reading analyses/comparison papers.

For the research class I need an independant blog, what do you make your students do?

actually it's the first week (classes started on the 21st) and she's just "set up a blog somewhere and tell me where" so I am all "what is a good blog site?" because I'm not really into this whole blogging thing.
