As you might remember, at the height of the recent gas price surge there was a strange event. All sorts of products started shrinking. Wouldn't surprise me the slightest bit. 15 years ago in Tokyo, the heads of all the Asian RAM memory makers would sit down at a local Geisha house once a month and conspire to price fix...may still be doing this now.

I just use the extra as pizza sauce or dipping sauce or as dressing on a Wilted spinach salad.
