I meant to write this one a while ago, but kept getting delayed. I'll do a short entry, rather than indefinitely put off making a longer one ( Read more... )

Psst- A lot of the more funky stuff has migrated to Central Square- There's also a lot of fresh stuff in Davis Square, too.

I'll be coming out there to meetup with Graceysbane this summer. AS she was out here last summer and is returning the favor.

HSq is one of the places I wanna visit as I'm a fan of Cartalk(.com) on NPR.

Maybe we could all do dinner when I'm there???

Cool! She says AUG/Sept would be a good time for me to come visit.

I've been feeling that Harvard Square just isn't as trashed as we're supposed to believe it is, even with some old favorites gone and chain stores having moved in. I know that Central Square is supposed to be the up and coming place and there are a whole lot of food places and bar places (I don't drink, but I notice these things) but it still doesn't do that much for me. Davis Square I'd like to get to a bit more due to overall coolness, although to be sure the one game store I've gone to there (Your Move Games) now (well, last few times I was there) has such a cramped location with such a limited selection that it's not as much of a draw to me as it could be or once was.

Mind you, if I actually lived in Cambridge or was more comfortable traveling I might have different feelings.
