i don't understand how someone who has a license to dispense medicine can refuse to dispense it undera prescription b/c of their beliefs. :o ( Read more... )

This makes me VERY angry. I've needed emergency contraception twice now (stupid condom failed :/ ) and i really don't know what the hell i'd have done if the pharamacy i went to refused to fill my 'script.

As a nurse (almost hehe), my patients are not always going to do things i agree w/. I'll work my ass of in the hospital w/ them, working to make them better, and some of them will go home and do everything in their power to reverse that. And there's not a damn thing i can do. Does that give me the right to refuse to treat them? NO! Should it? Absolutely freaking NOT.

These pharamacists need to get their heads out of their asses, IMHO. So you don't agree; tough shit. Suck it up and do your gawd damn job.

I don't know the story behind this, but it seems to me that a pharmacist is obligated to dispense whatever you've been prescribed. I assume you've tried complaining to a manager, etc.?
