know what was really great... how much better this was on the second read-through. the petulant!richard/annoyed!cara argument is so perfect and the flower memory is just beautiful. really intrigued where this is going.

Wow. Very impressive. I love the way you show the tension between Cara and Richard and Richard and Kahlan. Taryn's entry in Aydindril is well done. You can feel her focus to get to the First Chair before she dies.

I like how you bring in Berdine and Raina.

Can't wait to learn what will happen next.
