A good time at the ballroom

Who'd have thunk it. I actually had a decent time at the Electric Ballroom tonight. Maybe it was due to the hundred of old people come out of the woodwork to go the final night of the club. Saw quite a few people I so rarely see, and a few I've not seen in 5+ years. Music was crap, which is why it's shutting down, and the queue took an hour to get

Too right... 2 hours in the queue was far to much. Must be more dishonest in future and push in like 50% of other people. I wonder how many people didn't make it to the doors before they closed them?

As for the music, it was the same set that he has played for the last 5 years. Back in the good old days (tm) of Bell and Alan, at least there were two very different DJ's who both played a good variety of stuff (although 6 sisters tracks in one night was a bit much).

Having said that, we had a blast. I'll miss the old place, but then perhaps I will now go and check out some other clubs on a friday.
