This is the second part of the blog started here. We'll pick up from where we left off - I'd arrived home from a weekend in North Wales, de-kitted and was running a nice hot bath. I'd poured a glass of wine and had logged on while the bath was running

Gosh, I'm really sorry to hear about this Bob. That must have been really hard, especially combined with feelings of guilt about whether you could have saved him by doing something different. I'm glad you got closure about that at the funeral at least, but still it is not that much comfort in the end next to losing a friend. I hope his family are gradually adjusting to life without him.

Thanks Pen. The fact that it has taken me two years to find the words to put this into tells me how hard I found it to deal with and how long it has taken the emotional dust to settle. Hope all well with you Dear Reader : ).
