Point A: It's your wedding. You invite who you want and don't invite who you don't want. I cannot stress enough not letting anyone else, mother or not, make choices in your wedding that you are not comfortable with

:) Thanks! I wouldn't mind inviting just the one, but if we offer it to one person, we've got to offer it to everyone, and I really don't want half the guestlist of people we don't know! I'm already having to invite all my cousins other half who neither of us have met and I haven't even seen the cousins for about 10 years! And it won't be like the daughter won't know anyone, she knows pretty much all my family and all of our friends that are going! It's just stressing me out. A lot!
I definitely understand. My Grandma was down my throat during mine about inviting all these distant relatives that she knew, but I had never met, or at least they hadn't seen me since I was a baby... WHY would I invite those people? I put my foot down though. I couldn't afford to feed that many random strangers.
