today we finished moving everything out of the old house on roosevelt to our new place at 65th and 35th, which is conveniently located only a few blocks away from a swanky doughnut shop and a branch branch of the seattle public library. i've been settling into the house quite well and i think i'll be very happy here for a year

i read your account and jessicas as well (though being the genius that i am even though i read yours first i asked her if the dude was okay..)
i wouldn't blame yourself though for having a car.... not that i think he deserved what happened by any means but the fact is to be considered that to be running into any object with such force he had to be going faster than he could control.. perhaps there was a factor such as someone following him too fast, but a tree could have done just about the same thing probably.. so don't beat yourself up. of course, i'm totally pro people being conscientious about that stuff, especially as I am a primarily biking sort of person now..
and on a brighter note, sometime i've got to come up and check out that new place.
