The hours dragged by. Jerry paced incessantly before one of the nurses dragged him into the next room. Angel slept, sprawled out on one of the unforgiving plastic chairs, his mouth open, small snores escaping every few minutes. Bobby sighed as he glanced at his watch for the hundredth time that evening.

“What’s taking so damn long?” he grumbled quietly.

Jack shot him an amused grin. “Never listened much in health class did you?” he said while he stretched, twisting from side to side.

“Nah, too busy making water balloons out of condoms,” Bobby said. He watched Jack stretch with one eye, the other on the door to the delivery room.

Jack smiled. “Water balloons?” Bobby nodded. “Chucked ‘em off the roof on the track team.”

Bobby stood up suddenly, fumbling in his pocket for change. “C’mon Jackie, let’s go raid the vending machine,” he said a moment later.

Jack glanced around the room. “What about him?” he asked, pointing at Angel.

“Ah, leave him, he’s fine there,” Bobby said while pulling out more loose change.

“Let’s go already, I’m starving,” he complained when Jack hesitated a moment later.

“’Sides, Ma will be here soon. She’ll watch him,” Bobby said. Jack shrugged.

“Fine, let’s go then,” he said. They walked down the hallway, bumping shoulders, their fingers brushing together every so often. Bobby stopped walking suddenly, causing Jack to bump into him.

“What are-“he started to say. Bobby shushed him. He checked the hallway behind him and smiled. Without another word, he pulled Jack into one of the empty rooms.

“Thought you were hungry,” Jack said. He felt a spark of arousal as he saw Bobby’s eyes darken in the dim light. Bobby moved closer to him, pressing him up against the door.

“Oh I am, just not for candy,” he said lowly. Jack shivered once as Bobby pressed closer, his lips silencing Jack’s protests.

Jack felt his mouth give a second later, his fingers tingling as little sparks flew through him. He groaned deep in his throat and wrapped his arms around Bobby, pulling him closer.

He hissed in pleasure as Bobby swirled his tongue around his, the tingles of pleasure rushing faster. Jack closed his eyes and would have sworn that they were floating.

“Bobby?” a voice called from the hallway.

They broke apart reluctantly, Bobby groaning in annoyance. “Fuckin’ figures.”

Jack bumped his head against the door. “I swear she’s psychic,” he grumbled.

Bobby nodded. “I’d be surprised if she wasn’t,” he agreed. “You look like you were making out.”

Jack smirked. “I s’pose I was.” He patted his clothes down and rubbed at his cheeks.

He blew out a breath before smiling again. “Alright, let’s go.”

Bobby paused, hearing his mother’s voice call for him again. “One thing,” he murmured.

He pulled Jack back to him and kissed him fiercely, nipping his lip, drawing a surprised moan out of Jack. He licked his lips, and winked at him before opening the door.

Evelyn stood off to the side, a faint twinkle to her eyes. “There you are! Come now, the nurse said that the baby’s almost here.”

Bobby sauntered down the hallway, a soft grin on his face. Jack walked behind him, swearing under his breath. Evelyn shook her head. ‘Oh these two,’ she smiled to herself.

Just as they made it back to the waiting room, Jerry burst out of the other door, flushed and excited.

“It’s a girl!” he cried happily.
