I think your newest copy of the Bhagavad Gita sounds like the version of the first one I had - I was still a teen and it seemed like a way of being spiritual I could accept - maybe cause it was so different from what I grew up with :-)
It is a wonderful "poem" and Huxley's introduction alone would have been worth the price. This was also the first version i read (though i was way past my teens), Mascaro's translation suits me better.
Yeah, i am sort of glad it is snowing. We really need the water next summer. I don't really like snow much at my age; but i try to ask blessings on "all these our circumstances."
It is not snowing now and tomorrow will probably be drivable.
Well, I have six English language versions of the Tao Te Ching (including two i copied off the internet). I have been thinking of buying a seventh (by Derek Lin). That may not be too many, but it is certainly more than enough. :)
