Yes, if something doesn't make sense to a child, it is most likely some kind of "nonsense."

If a specific religion is the only religion that believes/does ______, i think that whatever goes in the blank is either wrong or trivial.

And i would add that if it has to do with hierarchy or male dominance, it is wrong no matter how many religions believe in it.
