I have been thinking about you and Dianne and praying for you both, amid the fires. Yesterday Chun Woo and I were talking about you, and we both hold our thumbs for your well-being.

I'm worried now. You wrote you thought your heart will kill you, but now it looks like something else....... what do you mean? Did I miss a post?

I have no doubt you can take care of Dianne. And I am glad to hear she is doing a sleep study for the oxygen. I'll bet she was pleased to get out of the house for those hours.

Thank you.

No, no, Jackie, i am fine. I am 82 and nobody in my bloodline ever lived to be 90; so i do occasionally wonder about my own death. I am in very good health and try to remember to be grateful for that. Now that i have been told (after 40 years!!) that i am not diabetic, heart and eyes are the only things i worry about, so the cardiology test results were totally good news.

Your posts on spiritual topics make good reading and I appreciate them, but health posts like this one have the ability to affect me deeply. I fall silent and respect life.

Thank you. I appreciate that comment. I am reluctant to post personal stuff, partly because i am uncomfortable talking about my self and partly because my wife's life is so closely bound to mine that i feel i am invading her privacy when i talk about myself. I hear you say that my personal stuff affects you spiritually more than spiritual stuff. As an autistic person, i find that very interesting.

I'm not sure it affects me spiritually ... it's more like a reality check, I suppose. It's cliche, but it really is easy to take things like good health for granted until it's threatened.

Yeah, i am reminded almost daily that things like breathing and thinking and walking around are gifts which i can no longer take for granted.

I am glad they're doing some further looking into Dianne's oxygen problems. As for yourself. I'm also glad your heart is in the ok range.
:)
Hopefully the smoke will clear soon. The fires are reported on even here in Spain...
