That must be quite photo shopped and enhanced/edited. We have been through the Dolomite Alps many times...and that just does not look real (from my experience).
The photographer is Russian. He's on my friends list and he has taken some very remarkable photographs. The photo wasn't labeled Alps, just Dolomites which is a type of rock that could exist many places. I surmised "Alps" from the foreground. A lot of the spectacular beauty in a subject depends on how the light is hitting. I have seen pictures of the American Southwest that i could not have believed if reliable friends had not witnessed them (e.g. Anasazi ruins in Utah at sunset.)
