I think plenty of true words are beautiful, though. The acrid pollen glows on the stamens, luminous with possibility, shining with generous prodigality.
And arguments that are about exposition and play seem delightful to me! :)
Yes, And i also think of poetry which often tries (and succeeds) in coming closer to truth, and beautiful words (but also fewer words, generally)
Clumsy speech which conveys useful information tends to be ignored while smooth speech without meaningful content is taken for truth. This seems much truer nowadays than i remember of yore.
