This whole Don Imus fiasco has gone on long enough. Look, the guy made a mistake. One little slip of the tongue directed toward a women's college basketball team. There have been worse things said on air that didn't result in the guy getting sacked, that's for sure. And as much as I hate to agree with him, you really can find worse depictions on

He was actually fired because his sponsors pulled out. CBS couldn't give two shits what he said.

Actually, Imus isn't really a never-was...the man is in the Broadcasters Hall of Fame and had been quite popular before you and I were born. A has-been, yes, and never-was...I'd have to disagree with you there.

I don't think he should have been fired, but it also wasn't his first off color comment to get him into trouble (although nothing was ever this extreme). Everyone makes mistakes, and while his actions aren't acceptable, firing the guy is a bit overboard. I actually had to look up the word nappy, because I didn't realize that people took more offense to that word than to ho.

Imus is pretty scary looking though...I'll give you that. And that picture you have up is actually when he was younger...he's only gotten scarier.
