I do agree with what you said about Valentine Day's significance, but I respectfully disagree with your comment on "There really should only be one day you need to celebrate your love with your significant other, and that's your anniversary." You should celebrate your love everyday. I'm not saying you need to exchange cards or gifts or anything of the like, but if you're lucky enough to have found love, it should be celebrated everyday. Albeit quietly between the two of you, but it still should be a daily celebration. Because one day you may wake up and it's gone. To me, all the celebration I need is a daily "I love you".
