Yeah - makes sense in all sort of ways for Greed 2.0 to be rather adolescent. He's in a hormone-filled adolescent body, he's supposedly 'a different Greed' and therefore very young - and he's super-confused. It's not surprising that he'd react to his confusion and his previous traumatic death in an angsty teenage way. Look at when he jumps out of the window and runs off during his fight with Wrath - how teenage is that?

I am so impressed that you know cans were hand-soldered. Where did you get this stuff? Did you nerd that when researching the kind of ready meals they'd have for Camping Sucks? What I was going for was that slight metallic taste people's mouths and one's own mouth sometimes have. Given it's worse if you have catarrh (bleugh) I'd say mucus is likely responsible, but I like your explanation about amylase. Ions smell slightly metallic in the air, so it makes sense. Nerd handshake tiem indeed.

Again, I love how their bond is really becoming apparent to them both. You can debate whether this is purely friendship or romantic or whatever - I like to think it is a deep friendship that crosses over to the physical given the circumstances of the whole thing. There is a lot of pressure and uncertainty on these two. I can't blame them for needing something to hold onto. That it's each other and that it's hot is completely coincidental. XD

And then here comes grumpy Greed 2.0, who is as unsure of himself as either teen. It's almost cute, expect he can be a dick at times. I do love his joshing nature, however, and him giving Ed a bit of shit for being a poor kisser and it having been his first. Aw. I do love Greed 2.0.

Yeah, I wanted to leave some room for interpretation here but that's how I see them. It makes sense to me that if Ed was having casual sex, it would be with someone he trusted and cared for, which I guess makes it less casual, but ... yeah. You articulated it better than me. Ling and Ed have a deep and complicated friendship. And isn't it interesting that you could say the same things about Hughes and Roy in this 'verse? Heheheh

Well, Ed just doesn't seem the casual sex (or casual anything) type of guy. He gives his relationships a lot of weight and keeps them close, which is probably why he has a smaller group of people who are close to him. I'm not saying he's not friendly or well liked, but the list of people he would consider a real friend is rather shorter than other people's. So all that said, yes, I agree that any "casual" sex he had would have to be with someone he trusted and cared for on some level, and done with the understanding that it was "casual." And heeheehee about Roy/Maes. Can we have shippy tease fic now please

I agree completely about Ed and friends! You knew I would. XD This also for me makes it almost inevitable that he'd ultimately end up considering Roy a friend post-manga - they just trust each other too much and have been through so much together. Of course, this doesn't have to go in the direction I'm taking it in Wrong Turn 'verse, but - *shrugs like Greed 1.0*

Poor Greed, not even let out to score. He must be doing a lot of fapping in the tunnels.

I'm really glad you liked your cherries! Mmm, cherries. This was kind of how I'd pictured it in my head too, obvs. And as for "isn't it every FMA fic writer's aim to lovingly chronicle the entirety of Ed's sexual experience?" So very very true, I might have to put it on my profile or something. XD Anyway, on that note, I feel like the stakes have been raised for Wrong Turn 'verse Ed/Win and how I recount Ed's first encounter with a lady - and oh yeah, Ed in love.
