So I dunno about this, we are getting three speicals next year with David Tennat, and confrimed fifth series in 2010, so I guess its good to know Ill have new Doctor Who till at least 2010.

As I can read it was done for possible three reasons....
to give David Tennat a break after doing Hamlet

Well we get a whole season next yeat (series four) and then 3 specials in 2009.
I'd like to see Tennant back for the fifth series but i'm not holding my breath.

the rumor was that the BBC did this for Tennat and he basically pseudo agreed to do Series 5, but again hell its 2010 and thats a good 2 years away...ppls minds change, right now he might not wanna do it but that can change and vice versa... If he does the new series I cant see him doing it past 2010, unless he wants to give Tom a run for his money:)

It also intresting people have said Tennat IS the Doctor opposed to as, which hell pisted Lazenby enough not to do Bond again:)

Finally these "speicals" better be 90mins in length
