Brawler of the Week
Welcome to Brawler of the Week. Today we're talking about Xanxus.
- As much as Xanxus wants to be the Tenth, there are times when he feels like the work that would go along with it wouldn't be worth the hassle.
- Even he has no idea how he grew while frozen. He doubts anyone knows.
- Throwing glasses is how he shows his affection. No, really.
- Even more than the Ninth, Xanxus hates his mother. In fact, he wishes that he'll someday get to see the bitch burning in hell with him.
- He likes whiskey and tequila because of the burn. He feels like it helps to fuel the Flame.
- Xanxus's first opinion of Bel was that he was a loud, obnoxious child who didn't know his place. He still thinks that, but to a lesser degree, and acknowledges his handiness in battle.
- He also really, really, really likes the tongue ring.
- The first time Xanxus met Squalo, he was convinced the other boy was actually a girl with a boy's haircut wearing a suit. ...The long hair now doesn't help that memory any.
- Being in Tsuna's body was one of the most awkward experiences in Xanxus's life. Not because he was in someone else's body, but because there were people, there was a mother, that cared and worried about him.
- It irritates Xanxus how much it bothers him that Squalo has all of these... connections with other people. Like he's replaceable, even though he knows damn well he isn't.
- Xanxus hated it whenever Iemitsu had to come to see the Ninth for something, because he would always, always, mess up Xanxus's carefully gelled hair.
- Really, he thinks Voichan is adorable. However, he still doesn't want to have to take care of him.
- As much as Xanxus appreciates Levi's devotion, he really wishes the idiot would tone it down a bit. There's such a thing as too much Boss love.
- Accepting Yoko as an honorary member of the family was surprisingly easy for Xanxus. He realized later that that was because, were he to ever have a daughter, he would raise her to be just like that.
- Xanxus has the feathers partly for the status symbol, and partly because it's always nice to have something around to irritate the hell out of Squalo, though the giggling fits can stop anytime.
- Xanxus can remember brief flashes of sound and images from during the time he was frozen. In each of those memories, Squalo is somehow involved.
