[He's never been able to tell what goes on in Vincent's head. Never been quite sure what his little brother is thinking. Ten years turned it into fact, just another part of who the man was, but it has never stopped being unsettling and more than once he has caught the half-formed wish to just know flickering across his mind.
This is as close as he may ever get. Should he be thankful?]
[That spark of delight flashing across his face upon seeing his brother could not have been feigned. He cradles the dreamberry gently in his hands, as though it were the head of a newborn child.
It doesn't matter what brother's intentions are. For if it's brother, then certainly it would be all right.]
And a very good morning to you as well, brother. I have been waiting for your call.
[There is no room for pleasantries because he is already having second thoughts, and if he stalls too long then he might change his mind entirely. And he needs to do this. These distant shadows of familiarity...he needs to know.]
Vincent...how much do you remember of when we were children?
[Ah, brother. One could say that the cruelty of children is unparalleled. And his gentle, gentle brother was cruel indeed, to force such a smile upon his lips in this fashion.
Though... how curious, indeed. He gives pause.]
Did you forget, brother?
I do believe we have had such a conversation before.
[But then...Then he smirks, because it is oh so wonderful to have proof that he is getting to Vincent, even just slightly, even if the proof comes only in dreams.]
After all, it seems that the young sir has taken in my dreams as his business indeed. A little reciprocity would not be strange at all in a situation like this, wouldn't the young sir agree?

There are so much more fun ways to go. Pushing people off cliffs is just too fast.

I do wish my dream would have taken something like that into account. How inconsiderate of these impulses.

I only have Sir Break to thank. After all, he is such a fascinating man.

Indeed, it would appear so. Certainly to be dreamt of would imply so, anyway~ I was unaware that I am so often in your thoughts, Mister Vincent!
