I loved it way more than I expected to. Steven is just so damn watchable and the whole cast brings it to an entire different level.

I enjoyed it very much. However, I'm a little confused about some of the supporting characters. I'll eventually get familiar with most of them.

I read some other reviewers/bloggers who were confused about the supporting cast. I guess all the sharp suits and fedoras make the Feds and hoodlums look alike :)

i'm loving this show thus far <3
anything set prohibition-era excites me way more than it should...

the grittiness is what gets me - it doesn't skimp on depicting how corrupt and violent things could get back then. very well done. though i agree with what someone else said, in that it's hard to keep track of the "bigwig" type characters. there are just so many of them 8|

jimmy is adorable, and i'm already worried about his safety. i was like "OH NO BB, DON'T DO IT. YOU'RE MAKING A V. BAD DECISION"
but he did not heed my words :(

(also - is this show trying to tell us that al capone was in the lost battalion? i just. i cannot even process the awesomeness. my inner history whore is grinning)
