Heh. Oh, I love that idea too, don't get me wrong. It's just that I want to be able to compare screen readability before I make up my mind; I don't really like to read long screeds on my computer screen and I'm told that these new contraptions are better, but I still want to see for myself before committing. And I like the smell and feel of paperbacks. And the quiet absence of electrical humming, whirring or whining. Also, I'm sometimes quite parsimonious.
I'm not even going to try with Canoodia. It's always a disappointment. The bilingual language laws mean that stuff is screened coming in and very little is available to us electronically. (If it's not available in both languages, forget it).
