I heart the addition of smut to the piece. Some writers tend to forget that Sam has a moral baseline and that he'd put up a fight under something like that.

The smut is hot, and I'd love more from them. It's a very bittersweet little piece, and I like it.

Hey thanks! It means a lot. A friend of mine wondered why I didn't go for a straight sex scene, but I wanted to keep it as realistic as possible. A sloppy, emotion-revealing, first fumblings between two people with a long relationship. I get the thing with Sam too, I like that the character has an edge, but the fact that he hasn't pulled anything on Fiona and has such loyalties to her and Michael shows that he has respect for her and high regard for his friends.

I added and posted a final chapter and will clean it up soon, (and add bonus pr0n for fun later) I just wrote it out so fast I had to post it. I went for the romance angle, I just had to explore it. It's definitely a challenge to keep the characters edge and give some romantic fanservice if you will at the same time ;)

You're quite welcome! there isn't a bunch of Sam/Fi out there, and I'm always pleased to read some. I think the awkwardness between them works here - will feedback second part in a bit. You're doing very well with it :)
