Well, you could always go the route I learned at Gen Con last year. When you find the strange building with the strange goings on, you load up a car/jeep/truck with all the explosives you can get and drive it right into the middle of the house, that takes care of any problems :)

The GM who taught me this was running a CoC game, he also said that it was rather effective......

I like the Knights of the Dinner Table variant of that idea. Load a small quantity of explosives onto a gasoline tanker truck.
