I missed like the first minute or two of the episode, so I didn't get why the character was in prison in the first place. And I couldn't figure out what his motive was of doing anything...then the kidnapping of Laurel...I just didn't get this episode! LOL!
Although I liked the episode for the other guest star, Manu Bennett...I loved those scenes between his character (Slade I think he called himself...I can't even remember what David Anders characters name was- sorry!) and Oliver on the island. I'm glad Manu will be in two more episodes...

He was in prison for several reasons - as far as I understood... human trafficking and such for example... I think Laurel mentioned it, too, and she knew him and about him and she was upset because he got out of prison...
He kidnapped Laurel because he wanted to get to the vigilante... the Hood (aka Oliver) and his source at the police told him that she was "close" to him... which the source found out because Laurel was able to talk to him on the phone... so he wanted to trade her life for his or something like that...
David Anders' character's name was Cyrus Vanch XD God, he's SO so awesome! *lol*
Yeah, I know! Colton will appear in 1x15, so in about 2 weeks... :) I'm looking forward to THAT as well, but I still enjoyed the episode with "my" David very very much...
I know not a lot of people think of David as Sexy at all *shrugs* But I can't really help it... I love the guy... :D
I love David Anders since Alias and it makes me sad that he doesn't get any great roles worthy of his talent anymore (his character on Heroes was awesome at the beginning but then of course they totally ruined him as well when the whole show went downhill). Unfortunately,he was wasted on Arrow too. I mean,it was great seeing him again and it was a pretty good episode for a change (mostly because of the whole island stuff,didn't care much for the rest) but they could have done so much more with him!
You're right about this... maybe I'm just "too easy" to satisfy, because just seeing him was really awesome... I didn't think it was THAT much of a waste... it's most of the time a lot worse in "Once Upon a time"... I mean, I love his character there and WHEN he has something to do it's mostly interesting, but sometimes he just says one sentence an episode and not even a very clever one... so... yeah... I get your point... I still liked to see him so bad for a change... (never watched Alias and Heroes as you might know, but maybe I should change that and watch at least his episodes...)
He always plays bad guys though,at least in the things I've seen him in *lol* (Alias,Heroes,Vampire Diaries,24,Undercovers). He was seriously awesome in Alias! Fun fact: he had a british accent in Alias and Heroes and it sounded so real that I was actually shocked (and disappointed) when I found out that he's american *g*
ah, okay... I've only seen him in "Once Upon a Time" so far - I think... but I heard a couple of times he was good in "Alias" :)
And it's incredible how some actors can switch on and off accents whether they are natural or not... I mean, I don't think I could :D John Barrowman is pretty good in that, too... he can play British but also American and in "reality" he also has a strong scottish accent if he wants to... :D
Seriously? That's the only thing I did NOT like about this whole episode because it was lame and because it was totally predictable... I definitely did NOT like that Shonda made them "ruin" the hospital first only to buy it in the end... not my thing... but I mean, I'm gonna be out after Justin leaves again anyways :P
No no no! I mean it in the way, I hate whole ruining hospital in order to buy it and it was so obvious so why we have to wait for three episodes to see that XD
Ah, okay... this storyline was plain stupid in my eyes, and where do they wanna go from there then? SO Cristina, Meredith, Derek, Callie and Arizona will own the hospital, then WHAT? They have no idea how to "run" a hospital...
