I've fallen behind on the Duck Reports (and Mum has been on a tear with writing them), so I have a bunch here today covering late April through to June. So much news from the hinterland...
My MIL used to spin and dye wool with homemade dyes - she and your mum could have talked about sheep... There's a sad lack of actual ducks though, I was expecting duck stories. 😂
Sadly, the ducks are all long dead at this point. She started the reports almost 10 years ago, and her love of ducks didn't stand the test of time. I keep telling her she should "rebrand", but she's retired and honestly doesn't give a fuck XD
Mum is sooooo into the natural dye stuff. She'd love to have more people to talk about it with, but there aren't many locals who do that sort of thing. Commercial dyes are just easier and cheaper *shrugs*.
I'm happy people are still posting here - it's so much more civilised than other social media. I'm also impressed with such blogging dedication. What a hero!

She'd also be chastising them for their uppity-ness in her Yorkshire accent before she quickly dispatched them to the pot ;)
